slow seeing 02 (Point Pleasant Park)

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut bibendum tortor sit amet ligula rutrum, at porta tortor convallis ...

slow seeing is in equal parts a meditation on loss, a visual dialogue in and with transformation, and an attempt to reflect on the reach and limits of settler narratives in relation to historical canons of landscape photography. The images are recorded within homemade pinhole cameras, on photographic paper from the 1970s given to me by my mother; the expiry date on the paper is the same as the year of my grandfather’s death. Trailing this residue of intergenerational timelines, slow seeing weaves together personal and collective grief in the form of material traces.
